Tiger Woods Misses Cut at British Open: Tiger Woods missed the cut today at the British Open, only the second time in 49 majors as a professional he's had the weekend off. His second-round 74 left him five over par at 145, missing the cut by one stroke. Given this result, should we now be asking if Woods spends too much time on his charitable efforts?
I can't tell if you're being serious or not. In the off chance you are, the dude's still coming back from serious knee injury and surgery. Doing well in that first tourney back is possibly the worst thing that could've happened; it set expectations a bit too high, I think.

No, we should be celebrating Tom Watson, the oldest player on the course, tied for the lead after a turbulent second round.

It's amazing that Watson has won five of these Opens.
I can see Tiger eclipsing Nicklaus' record of total majors won, but I don't know if he will win another three British Opens during his career to eclipse Watson's mark.

Amen, bro. The first time Tom Watson won the open Tiger's mother was in her second trimester with Eldrick. This is amazing.

Tiger Woods is a robot.

Go Tommy! This would be the craziest win since Nicklaus. No Tiger. That changes a lot.
I think Tiger, like Tony Romo, isn't dedicated enough to his craft. He needs to be more serious about golf.
He also might want to think about some corporate sponsorships. I think he'd be good.

I can't help but think of some Rocky IV quotes here for some reason???
Tiger Woods is a robot. Drago: [to his own trainer] He's not human. He's like a piece of iron.
Tiger Woods Misses Cut at British Open Duke: [to Rocky] You see? You see? He's not a machine, he's a man, he's a man.
Go Tom!

Clearly someone forgot to debug the source code in the 2009 British Open version of Tiger.

I must've put a decimal point in the wrong place or something. Shit, I always do that. I always mess up some mundane detail.

Tiger is no robot, he is just Tiger.
I hate when my kid watches him throw his clubs and curses, he acts like my son when he loses Madden, but my son is 7, minus the cursing :)

inogo2,
Of course bperk was kidding! Tony Romo has won exactly 0 (That's zero...titles)...and Tiger....does it really matter? So, he slipped...and thereby proving he is human afterall! Check the money list and points standings...If Tiger had a bad week or, for that matter never wins another tournament again; does it mean he wasn't (or is) one of the greatest at his craft ever?

Smith: Kudos my friend. I ALMOST put that quote myself:)
