Oshie for Mayor: You want to vote for Oshie? Okay. You want to tell people about it? No problem. You want to take a picture of your completed ballot and post it online? Not fine. (Or big fine, we'll see.)
Exactly dviking.
The St. Charles County Election Authority is taking a hard stance against using the ballot box to display fan loyalty. The Oshie voter "violated the law, and I'm going to prosecute," county elections director Rich A. Chrismer said. "They may have thought the photo was cute, but it was very serious."
There's your tax dollars at work. Too bad Chrismer isn't accountable to any voters.

"You can't violate something as sacred as the ballot,"
Yeesh.

As a resident of St. Charles County, I applaud this fan.
I disown the county election director. Fucking tool. It's the concept of the letter of the law superseding the spirit of the law. JESUS WOULD NOT BE PLEASED.

While I certainly can grasp the need for regulations regarding our election procedures, it would be a travesty to spend taxpayer dollars investigating, prosecuting and perhaps housing the suspect in this case.
Hopefully, the perp sent the photo from a public computer!
