Mike Danton: is taking legal action against Devils GM Lou Lamoriello, apparently because he's unhappy with his ice time. He wants to be traded, released, or placed with an AHL team for two weeks so another organization can take a look at him. Isn't this the same guy who was suspended last month for not reporting to the Devil's own AHL affiliate, the River Rats? I just don't see how this is justifiable.

Wow, filing against your organization for not playing you. What are the chances the Devils can file a countersuit, on the basis that Danton is (and this a legal term) "a 180-pound pile of crap?"

Who on earth would want to pick this guy up? Just stitch "CANCER" on the back of his sweater. (Of course, if he were fifteen years older and making a few million dollars more, he'd already be a Ranger...)

Less, Ufez ... at least this guy was in on the decision-making process. I'd bet that kid wasn't a factor in filing the MVP suit, but he's probably still getting his butt whupped at school because his father is such a moron.

What a strange way to write an article. For five or six sentences he talks about Danton and then without segue or pause he jumps right into a story about Colin White. I was confused for a bit, initially thinking White and Worrell were fighting about the lawsuit, but in the end I figured it out. It was like a word puzzle. Thankfully, I'm good at word puzzles. As for the lawsuit… I hate the Devils like nothing else, but I side with them in this case. If Danton is actually concerned about the next 10 or 15 years of his career he might want to shut his word-hole and make like a good hockey player. He should try working out, playing hard and trusting that his talent will pave the way for an extended career.
