So, by "March," you actually meant "April," right? Right? : I finally mailed out my SpoFi Swap CDs Thursday.

I'm looking for the angle to make me believe that was a joke. Did that seriously happen? Are we possibly at the onset of a rash of spofi-related violence? Or is TBH simply the most deserving of a random face punch?* *For the record, you'd be waaaaaaayyyyy the hell down my list, below even myself on certain days!

I'm in the process of moving, so don't expect one from me for at least a couple more weeks. Oh, and if you haven't sent me one yet, you should hold off until you get my new address.

My god, no wonder it's an annual event. By the time you bums send your CDs, it'll be time for the 2009 Spofiswap. All hail the Dental Floss group.

No excuses, I suck. I won't say when I'll get them out because I'll probably miss any deadline I make for myself. Sorry sorry sorry.

Fatty, I got a punk mix, and a dance mix; I don't have 'em with me right now (they're both loaded on my work computer), so I don't remember which is which, except that the punk mix had a wicked cool graphic of Johnny Rotten as a Stormtrooper. The dance mix was naked, just how I like my dancin'.
posted by The_Black_Hand at 07:48 PM on April 22, 2008
Mine was the non-Stormtrooper one. I suppose I should post a track list now that it's been a month.

I'm a bad person. I still have to trim down my mix, burn it, and send it out.

except that the punk mix had a wicked cool graphic of Johnny Rotten as a Stormtrooper. Thanks TBH, that would be mine. Hope you liked the CD as much as the graphic.

I was going to post the track-listing, but I wanted to make sure you guys actually got mine first. cjets, graphic and music greatly appreciated. You might find a couple on mine that resonate. Fatty, I know nothing about dance music, and so cannot name many of the selections you included, so a track listing would greatly interest me; at least, it would allow me to identify the ones that have bored their way into my head, and play over and over in my sleep. I do know this much: it's got a good beat, and I can dance to it. Well, I call it dancing, anyway. Bystanders usually describe it as a seizure of some sort.

Bystanders usually describe it as a seizure of some sort. Is that why when my wife and I go dancing, people are always trying to shove wallets in my mouth?

And, in a strange coincidence, one of my neighbors, who has an address easily confused with mine if you're dyslexic, answered his door the other day and was punched in the face by a total stranger wearing a baseball shirt with greenish sleeves, who didn't say a word. Weird shit, huh?
