Online baseball quizzes: Hi -- I posted the following to Ask Metafilter and one answer pointed me over here, saying they'd seen a link here that might help. Anyone remember it? The question was about online quiz material to help 7-8 year-olds learn rudimentary baseball defensive strategy. Looking to help them learn that when your're playing ____ position, and there's _____ outs, and runner(s) on ____, if the ball comes to you, you throw the ball to _____. Trying to help them have a plan before each pitch. Could be flash cards, online quizzes, or printable quizzes. Anybody remember seeing something like this around here?

When I was in little league, we had the rudiments of the game drilled to us in a sort of Pavlovian manner. For every answer we got right, coach would throw us a Scooby snack. Each wrong answer got you an electric shock. Take me out to the ballgame makes me drool to this day. *waves at camera and says "Hi terrapin & lilnemo"*

All this waving reminded me of Rob. That's funny, 86! I'd like to try that at a Blues game, except the attendance right now is so small that it wouldn't work as well. Maybe in a few years, they're "rebuilding" ya know.

Thanks for the laugh, 86. It would be bad form to do that at the RBC Center, otherwise I would try this prank.

There is a baseball instructional flash cards patent for something kind of along the lines of what you are looking for.
