Server Slow No Mo: SportsFilter had 58 gigabytes of old log files cluttering up the server. Now that they're deleted, the server should be as quick as Billy Donovan's NBA coaching career.
Does this mean there's space to put the old threads back?

What my friend Fipi Lele told me is that you need to delete the unused accounts to free up bandwidth.

Locker room interventions?
posted by yerfatma at 02:25 PM on June 05, 2007
Quick technical question -- on my home computer (Mac) in Firefox, when I go to SportsFilter, I get a server error page. I don't get the same page on the same computer in Safari or on my other computer. This originated at a time when there actually was a server error, but I can't figure out how to clear the cache or do whatever else it takes to quit defaulting to that error page. Any thoughts?

Any idea why I'm getting a blank front page this afternoon?

Mine's blank too.

SpoFi is still a bit slow for me. Other than that, locker room interviews!

holden, if you go to Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Clear Now . . . and choose cache, it still doesn't dump that error page? What if you kill your cookie for Sportsfilter as well?

The cache clear did not work, but the cookie delete worked. Thanks, yerfatma.

Any chance I can get an RSS feed for the Locker Room? TIA.
