Why would anyone deliberately miss a free throw?: Well, this kid had a pretty good reason. ESPN did a story on him that had me almost in tears.

I saw the bit on him on Sportscenter. I'll definitely be rooting for this kid at Wake Forest. Not only has he got a great heart, but he's got some serious skills.

This is one of those posts that won't generate a lot of discussion on Sportsfilter, but that I'd encourage wholeheartedly anyway. Hell of a story.
