CFL Pick 'Em, Week 15: Did anyone else feel that? The universe moved a little. Scientists have estimated that the epicentre lies somewhere at the southwest end of Lake Ontario.

Everything goes pretty much as expected, with—wait, Hamilton won?!

The picks were spaced pretty evenly between favourites and underdogs, at a healthy 7:3 ratio, so the points ended up being pretty evenly distributed. The exceptions were those of us whose favourites held and whose 'dogs upset, and those of you whose favourites were upset and whose 'dogs stayed true to form.

Some fresh looks this week should make for some fine viewing. WEEK 15 Hamilton @ Edmonton (Friday, September 22) Your guess is as good as mine here, but Hamilton doesn't have a 34-year playoffs-making streak that they're in danger of losing. That's all I got. Toronto @ Calgary (Saturday, September 23) Both teams have some momentum coming off last-week victories against teams they're supposed to beat—but Calgary did lose to Edmonton two weeks ago. Are they still playing hot/cold? Winnipeg @ Montreal (Sunday, September 24) A Winnipeg win moves them into a tie with the Alouettes. With Toronto coming on strong, could former kings-of-the-east Montreal eventually be forced to take a playoff flight to Winnipeg, of all place? B.C. @ Saskatchewan I don't know what's going on in B.C., mainly because I find games at B.C. Place really ugly and depressing to watch on television. Taylor Mosaic Field is much nicer, so I'll have more for you next week. Good luck!

Just like the Eskimos, I'm gonna bounce back big time this week! Edmonton by 17 The west is still the best, so I'll take Calgary by 21 over the Argos. Montreal cannot be "that bad" ... the losing skid stops on Sunday ... Montreal by 8. The bestest is the most westest ... B.C. by 10 on the tails of Geroy Simon in the hunt for MVP.

I have figured out why I am doing so bad. Canadian football isn't real football. Since football=sport; if Canadian football isn't football than it isn't a sport. Stupid Canadians. Edmonton by 26 Toronto by 5 Montreal by 10 Saskatwhatever by 7 Note: I do not actually hate Canadians, I just hate CFL Confidence Pools

These picks are forwarded from beautiful downtown Port Vila, Vanuatu, where CFL is the last thing on anyone's mind. Apart from the Canadian education adviser I just had coffee with. He's from B.C., so in his honour: Edmonton by 15 Calgary by 21 Montreal (with an 'r') by 7 B.C. by 11

Edmonton by 8 Calgary by 9 Montreal by 2 B.C. by 10 Chico, Chico, Chico.... I'm very disappointed. I mean, have a LITTLE pride. It's just sad, really. Such a damn waste. Oh - I hate those damn Canadians, too! What with their hats and pants and stuff.

Whatchutalkinbout, Weedy? I had a decent week for once! Whazzifuzziz? I got Ham-mentum for 9 slices of ham! And Tor-mentum for 11 sleepless nights in a row! And Mon-mentum for 5 commemorative statues! And Saskamentum for 4, uh, successful bowel movements!

Montreal (with an 'r') by 7 Sheesh, I guess the week is not complete unless I misspell the name of one of those friggin Canadien cities.

Edmonton by 4 Calgary by 4 Montreal by 4 B.C. by 4 okok not very creative picks I know but I figure hitting one spread by picking all close games would be easier than hitting the spread in all blowouts. All home teams winning cept Sask, I just dont see BC looseing there.

If you're looking for some decent CFL linkage, Boatmenblog is a top-notch Argos fan blog. Their latest discussion about touchdown celebrations was simply terrific.

That's funny! Good site, for sure! Another one that may interest y'all is the Eskimo fan forums. It's not the easiest forum to navigate, but there has been some good discussion about players posting on the fan sites, in this case A.J. Gass leaving a comment re: the "kicking incident" at the end of last week's game. The Edmonton media even picked up on it. Fan sites in general interest the heck out of me, so much so that I'm presently trying to find a way to incorporate them into my own academic research. If for no other reason, it's another excuse to travel for each Grey Cup!

These friggin' Canadians are killin' me this year. Even though a lot of them are Americans living in Canada. Whatever. My theme this week: culinary. Bone Apuhteet! Ham Sammich by 6 Lo-Cal Dressing by 10 Montreal Steak Seasoning by 12 Sweet Sassy Molassy by 8 Once I completely demoralize Frisby by kicking his ass up around his shoulder blades in Week One of the Hockey H2H, I come back here and stomp like a giant on the terra, on my way to a scintillating fifth-place finish! Bank on it, monkeys!
