CFL Pick 'Em, Week 14: It's one of those weeks when it seems that everybody that you picked last week lost. This is not a wholly inaccurate feeling in some cases. Nonetheless, there's always next week, for which you should make your picks inside.

Now, for the annotated Picks by Spitz: Because parity seems to be the theme of the 2006 CFL, there needs to be a log-jam of teams with 7 wins: Winnipeg by 4 in a nailbiter. The Eskimos are on a quest, and since there isn't enough drama in the league already, Ricky Ray will make Jason Maas the jilted lover in the Maciocia love affair: Edmonton by 10 Parity, remember? If B.C. drops this one, that puts them in a points tie with their cross-division rival. This round of the non-preview of the Grey Cup matchup goes the the Alouettes who have been stewin' over the last loss for a couple of weeks: Montreal by 11.

Looks like Hamilton has just added a freakin' force of nature to try to turn things around. Jesse Lumsden has signed on for two years. I just hope he's not dressing for Saturday! I'm a huge fan of this kid ... I think he's gonna rock the CFL in a big way.

Well... so much for our powers of pattern recognition. Edmonton comes from behind to avoid getting buried for the season, Toronto manages a win despite not scoring a touchdown, and Winnipeg... won?
