CFL Pick 'Em, Week 7: Finally, some points get handed out. Make your picks for the first week of the Post-Ricky-Williams Era inside.

Another good watching week: Montreal won another close one, making its run to 5-0 more exciting than that record might otherwise indicate. Edmonton and Winnipeg took three and a half quarters to get their heads in the game, producing a crazy see-saw ending in which Winnipeg stole the victory on a time-expiring Milt Stegall touchdown. B.C. thoroughly crushed Calgary's fledgling momentum, claiming that they "had no idea" who left it in the driveway. Toronto managed to overcome injuries to both Spergon Wynn and Ricky Williams to win a close one: the skin of their collective teeth is still lying in a crumpled heap on Taylor Mosaic Field.

Some big weeks: TBH in particular nails the Toronto game to claim sole possession of first place. All the other former first-placers had picked Saskatchewan: there's a lesson in there somewhere. Spitztengle also comes up with a nice six points to move into a threatening position.

You know, you'd think that the removal of one team wouldn't make a difference, but I look at the schedule and keep thinking "Didn't we see that game last week?" WEEK 7 Winnipeg @ Hamilton (Friday, July 28) Hamilton has won only one of their last four, but those three losses were all by six points or less. They're due for a break, especially against a Winnipeg team which has struggled with consistency. Montreal @ Edmonton (Friday, July 28) Given how they lost last week, Edmonton might be due for a break too, but breaks against Montreal tend to be few and far between. B.C. @ Toronto (Saturday, July 29) No Damon Allen? No Ricky Williams? No Spergon Wynn? Relax, it's only B.C. coming to town. Calgary @ Saskatchewan (Saturday, July 29) The Ugly Bowl. Both teams have struggled to find their form, and Saskatchewan is not a good place for anyone to find any form, as you will know if you have ever been there. Good luck!

YYM is on vacation (that's why it's been so quiet 'round here), and he posted his Week 7 picks last week. With the first kickoff in under two hours, I have to wonder if TBH will be keeping his #1 spot for long...

It looks like chicobangs could very well hold on to his prestigious spot though.

I just checked the league page, and the 'Peg score is the only one they posted. Really. I promise. Besides, it's not like I wasn't going to pick Winnipeg over Hamilton. Sheesh.
