Right back at ya - Ufez. Sox in 6 (not quite the same ledge)I see 2 Schilling wins, a Pedro win (and loss) and an Arroyo win. Cards in 6 - maybe 5. Houston is just an inferior team with a better rotation that is so fucking tired already. Cards and Sox in a slugfest.

Don't forget the abuse that Houston's bullpen has taken against the Braves (I think they more than got payback last night as the Braves pen absolutely imploded).

Sorry I'm late. (I can hardly bring myself to type it, but...) Yankees in seven. Cardinals in six. And in the World Series, Cardinals in 2.

Is it too late to make predictions? Yankees in 6 ... ahh, that hurt Cards in 5

Only Ufez Jones and WeedyMcSmokey were a perfect 4-for-4 in the first round. Both of them guessed the Cards in 4 as well, so it's a tie in my books (although WMcS was closer in total games played). So here is my prediction: Boston vs NY This is going to be a drag-em-out slugfest. The only way this could get more exciting would be if every game went into extra innings. So will it be the "all-star" lineup (Jeter, ARod, Sheffield, Posada, Williams, Matsui, Rivera) or the OTHER "all-star" lineup (Schilling, Pedro, Ramirez, Ortiz, Damon, Foulke) that wins? In the end, I've gotta go with pitching, and I think those Yankee starters are looking like raw meat to the BoSox hitters. Boston in 7 Houston vs St. Louis Watch the steamrolling continue! Kudos to the Astros for finally slaying their playoff demons, but I can't see how they'll get by the Cardinals if they had such a hard time with the (slumping) Braves. St. Louis looks like the New England Patriots: unstoppable. St. Louis in 5
