Sportsfilter Fantasy Hockey, Week 10! The Usual Suspects: Crap City continues to hold number one, and the Arrogant Champs continue to stay close behind. Sammy's Ice Holes, benefitting from 3 Belfour shutouts in 6 games and a somewhat revived Raycroft (except for today, ouch!), jump one spot to third. That league leading 2.01 GAA is mighty good.

I can't believe what is happening at the Saddledome lately. Amazing team D, good goal tending, and actually scoring more than the opponent. The first two components were there pretty much all season, but now the scoring as kicked in. Look out, this is a solid team...in the Canes and Ducks mold. The Flames were my first favorite team. First ever NHL game attended. First ever NHL puck caught. First infra-red faucet experience(I think). Oh yeah, FHL. Well, I had a nice little run going, but the pick-up streak had to end sometime. Grum, watch out for Sammy. If his goal tending keeps this up, you'll be sleeping with the fishes.

I finally had a night where more than 4 players played and I DIDN'T have a +/- of 0 or less in total. That category (and PIM) are killing me. I sure would like to kick whoever's ass it was that suggested those categories... Oh wait. That was me. *kick* ow! *kick* ow!

speaking of category selection.....shooting % was bit of an iffy choice....what a crap shoot that is.

Oh man, I wish we sould nix shooting %. That might have been my suggestion, though. I'm retarded.

hey grum, is Prusek's back better? I hadn't heard anything yet.

I dunno about Prusek, but I can't tell you Mogilny is still out! (and, unfortunately, Yzerman and Lemieux and Drury and Berard. *sigh* and I started off quite competitive)

Great, now Kaberle is injured for a week or two. *grumble*

hey grum, is Prusek's back better? I hadn't heard anything yet. I don't know. But with my 3rd goalie going down with an guaranteed long term injury (Hedberg, broken bone in his hand/wrist), I figured I'd rather have Prusek if he's injured than Hedberg. If it seems long term, then I'll look for someone else and dump Prusek. There wasn't really anything to be lost by trying this, since Hedberg was a waste as well.

Prusek might turn into a huge pick-up. I tried to wait it out, but with only one starter, I had to look for immediate production.

much love, fraz, much love. I'm actually in head-to-head competition with you for a few categories, so I can't be too nice. what's the short and sweet on the meteoric rise? I think 14.5 pts qualifies as meteoric.

i may continue to lead (I would be trumpeting this a bit more over the last three weeks of asskickdom had I been on the net) but my goaltending has fallen off a bit and i have dropped from just around 2.07 to a pack down around 2.2 so i might be vulnerable if my keepers continue to suck.

Your keepers don't suck, gspm, you do.
