I just barely (and with a lot of luck) took second place from Sammy's -- riding a 7 assist night and some good goalie performances today to jump eight spots. "Moving on up" award: Les colecos, who are riding high on Kovalchuk's shoulders "Wrong way" award: Aint No ice in GA, who just lost Turek for 2-4 weeks. "Who is that guy" award: Ferrets. Seriously, who is that?

Hey, I've got more than Kovalchuk going! My goalies are settling in nicely. I even missed a shutout by Martin Gerber that would have brought me near the top, I swear. Datsyuk is waking up. I've got great D. And I'm leading PIMs. Things are looking good.

Mike York is mine!!! Step! Found my way out of the cellar this week (was 14th, now maintaining 5th). But nobody's performing particularly well for me. In that 5-2 pasting of the Leafs by the Isles, my two Islander players got me a total of one assist. Argh. But how sweet was the call on Lucky Luc? *bows* Unrelated: grum doth sucketh.

According to one source in the EPL pool the vagabonds team there belongs to catfish. I am so smart! S M R T! And my team sucks. grum sucks cause he is good, and I suck because I am mediocre. Though the Topes' leap of 8 spots is inspiring.

But how sweet was the call on Lucky Luc? *bows* Not nearly as sweet as grum's Czerkawski pick-up. What the hell was he doing in Montreal the last two years? I'm really glad I managed to pick up MA Fleury when he became available, cause with the Pens' defense, he's going to help a lot in the SHOTS department. And the way he's been playing so far, maybe he'll help with the Ws and GAAs. And those are, really, the only things keeping me from number one right now!

Boing! The draft was live, but most of us weren't able to participate. People like myself who had to set up the autodraft rankings really didn't really start with a disadvantage, though. Qbert has Kovalchuk, and he's now in 3rd behind that bastard grum and myself.
