It's one thing to crosspost with Mefi. It's a whole other to do the exact same post: 1,2

It just seems kinda lazy to me. We have cross-pollinization of a lot of users, so it would be nice to put a little effort into the wording of posts.

I saw that too. I'm at least relieved to find out that PJ and swenson are the same guy. I know this has been discussed, but I personally feel that we should post sports related FFPs here, and not on MeFi for the time being - The idea would be for this place to where you go for information you can't find anywhere else. Why bother with SpoFi if you can find the same stuff on the MotherFilter?

I'm going to sound like a broken record: The sites are unrelated. What happens on one should have absolutely no bearing on the other. Any time we spend on cross-site etiquette is going to be wasted in a year when 80 percent of the users aren't MetaFilter regulars.

Okay, okay, fair enough. You're right, rcade, and that's the last time I'll bring it up.

Yeah, to hell with those MetaFilter creeps.

I don't immediately see a problem with it, so, with a sense of unease, I'll ask: What do you see problematic with the cut and paste of crossposts, owillis?
