Recent Locker Room Comments by kloeprich

After about the third link I got lost and wandered aimlessly around the Internet for about an hour before I finally found my way back. By then I was too tired to post anything. Maybe it's just my short attention span, but when I see all those links I tend to fade away. Anyway, what was the question?

On behalf of Corpse and Grum, I would like to ask that the other teams in the league stop scoring so many points against us. Bullies.

When I die, I would like to go peacefully, in my sleep, like my Grandfather did. Not screaming and yelling like the passenger in his car. I knew this thread would get productive eventually.

grum: I'm just saying I'm not as bad as it looks dano: that's what we all say, grum =) Well, not all. My team is much worse than it looks. By all rights I should be 2-5. Got to love those reception points.

Sorry I'm late to the fray - I stopped to pick up the swords and pitchforks. I'm afraid the boiling oil was on backorder. Line forms to the left...

I must have the worst third place team in the history of fantasy football. If Vick can just come back strong I might actually be able to make the playoffs with more than smoke and mirrors. Excellent table Dano - your hard work is appreciated.

Come you guys, take it easy on Forbes. Their magazine is how I found SpoFi in the first place...no wait that was Fortune or maybe Money. All these mags doing their annual sportsblog review - it gets so confusing.

I have a suggestion: since WC doesn't like us anymore and won't do interviews and billsaysthis has been dying to be interviewed, how about we recruit the big O to fill the void and interview bill? We could probaly get the whole thing on Pay-Per-View which would help raise money for all the future lawsuits. Is it 'doth turneth' or 'doth turnest'? I always forget.

I'm guessing if it's a push like that nobody gets points.

Are the acheson's talking to themselves? That's got to be a SpoFi interview first.

Wait - that was my plan! From the looks of things there really isn't a whole lot the commish to do in this football league now that it's under way. Let's see how this goes and if he screws up we sic Starfucker on him. Is that Jerseygirl?

ESPN? Hell, we run two or three of those guys out of here a week.

Complete shot in the dark: try using single quotes ('http://www.sportspickle.com/index.html') instead of double quotes.

I'm in. But could we get them to clunker up that interface a little more? I could have hacked us some accounts at Caeser's in less time than that took.

Yeah, what happened to WC? Still recovering from the big Mtn View SpoFi sangria-fiesta?

posted by kloeprich at 02:09 PM on July 28, 2003

I'm very bummed I wasn't able to get in on the live draft. Went through all the gyrations of the pre-draft rankings but still ended up with a nothing at RB and Caspar the defense. Should be fun still - never been in a league with 15 teams before. How many actually did show for the draft?

posted by kloeprich at 02:06 PM on July 28, 2003

Hmmm...let's make it 50 cents per. And I didn't for a minute think you were soliciting - or I wouldn't have offered. No pressure on anyone else. I think what you're doing is awesome and I wish you a lot of luck.

How about some SpoFi member participation? I love a good local cause (even if it's not my locale). I'll pony up $1/pound - but we need regular updates.

Thanks for the invite! Clovis is a bit away - think Fresno - and I'm afraid I'll be on a lake Sunday. So I'll pass on this invite but I'd love to attend some future NorCal SpoFier function.

Fried bologna, Wfraze's gross link, flat hot dogs...you know it's almost meal time on the left coast. I may have to join WC and drink my dinner. Again. (Like I need an excuse.)

I think I prefer Behaviorally Disabled. Tipping over cars? That's it? I thought you were going thrill us with your misdeeds. Drinking stories man, we need drinking stories! Don't mean to derail you WC, but we can't let wfraze get away with too much of this Leo Buscaglia crap.

So, I bought 10 tons of cardboard at 3 cents a ton - now it's up to 5 cents, so, well, you do the math. The best part is I got a special deal where I only have to keep half of it at my house.

53. And this is by far WC's best interview to date. He just gets better and better. The way he slowly draws the interviewee out - what a magnificent sense of pacing. "And, when the doctor said I didn't have worms any more, that was the happiest day of my life."

WC, while you're at it, how about getting started on another interview? I'm going through withdrawals. I nominate Grum.
