ESPN: Favre Reaches Deal to Join Vikings

I don't see this ending well. i dont think Minnesota will make the playoffs and I hope he gets nothing but boos in GB. im so sick of his selfish antics and ready to discredit his accomplishments. And what the hell was Minnesot athinking paying 25 million for him. This is a mistake. he has tarnished his legacy greatly. Hes not even 100% healthy now. If he wants to play so bad he should just play with his wrangler jeans buddies.

Cavs Acquire Ben Wallace and Wally Alphabet for Playoff Run.

As a Cav fan I don't love this move but I will get used to it. We're gonna miss Gooden, not so much Hughes. Ben Wallace I think is overrated. Wally won't help that much and Smith is gonna get garbage minutes. The way I see it, we lost 2 starters, 1 we didn't need (Hughes) and gained an average big guy. West will help a little, but LeBron still has no Pippen.

Florida 41, Ohio State 14

As a Buckeye fan that was tough to take because we expected to win and we were flat, but Florida played amazing, everything they did, they did it with great execution, but I don't want to hear that Ginn's injury is why we lost, because Ted Ginn doesn't play defense. I also don't want to hear that Troy Smith is a 2nd string wr in the NFL, because he won't be. They out ran us, thats why they won, because of speed and heart. OSU just showed up and nobody wins just by showing up, and I don't want to hear that Florida is god and that OSU is trash just because they are champs because when we won, we did it with class, I expect the same from the fans of another Ohio born coach. And I hearing a little to much talk of Florida being the best team that ever played by all the idiots, not fans of football because Florida backed doored there way into the game and beat a team that thought they were already champs. And just for the record Chris Leak is no better than Troy Smith it just so happened to be Smith's worst career games and Leak just sat there and looked pretty while Timmy Tebow did all of the dirty work.

Michael Vick Passes the Buck

Another thing is I'm tired of hearing Vick should play RB or WR, you just don't do that whether or not he could, plus he would be a terrible running back, plus the falcons are paying $100,000,000 for him, he wouldn't last.

Young Buckeyes considering NFL draft

It's idiot fans like you sydney that cant accept a loss so they make up excuses. You shouldn't even deserve the title of fan the way you incoherently bitch about losing one game. Playing the overrated card is getting old as well, just because Jim Tressel owns your ass. Who did you blame the '04 and '05 games on becasue in '04 we were a 4-loss team and we still kicked your ass, and last year we were trailing late and came back and won, just be a man and accept a loss, don't be mad at us for kicking your ass be mad at yourself and Florida for also out playing your team all season.

Young Buckeyes considering NFL draft

To say Ginn is the only one who would go anywhere is the dumbest thing I ever heard. If anyone has seen a Buckeyes game this year they would know that Gonzalez is 5 times the receiver that Ginn is and that Ginn is overrated. He is the best athlete of the group, but in the NFL he wont be very successful becasue he cant handle pressure, in big games he is average and he is too damn inconsistent. Troy Smith made Ginn the reciever that he is and since his freshmen year he has slowed down immensely in the form of a return man. One thing about OSU is there graduation percentage, guys just dont leave early, unless like Maurice Clarett they are idiots. In my opinion losing Gonzalez would hurt the most out of that bunch and I really dont see any of them going early except for Ginn, but his father is gonna have a huge role in determining his future.

Tressel Skipped Final Coaches' Poll Vote

What difference does it make? He would pick Michigan and they deserve it most. The BCS is all about giving SEC teams a chance as long as USC isnt already getting it. The only difference from playing Michigan, USC, or Florida is that we would beat Florida by the most. Tressel is no coward, he has scheduled Texas two years in a row and USC for next year. Voting should not be put on the coaches anyway.

2007 NFL mock drafts already released in July.

This couldn't be more wrong. Ted Ginn won't leave early to go 16 and he can miss the whole year and still be picked in the top 5. He is the best WR in the draft and will have more stock then Reggie Bush did. Plus, where is Troy Smith, the best mobile QB in all of the nation. He will challenge Brady Quinn and Ted Ginn for the Heisman. And how did they get the order of the NFL teams?

Coference controversy?

Big Ten is the toughest conference with the SEC very very close behind. Ohio State and Penn State just won a BCS Bowl game and they will both be ranked high. Wisconsin won the Capitol One game, Iowa lost but they are a good team, Northwestern is a team on the rise as is Minnesota. Michigan always gets ranked high. Big 12 has Texas and Chokelahoma and that won't matter when OSU beats Texas September 9th. SEC always has the Power 5 in LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee with Alabama making its way to some type of prominence, but last year LSU was the only team that really did a great job thats why they're just below the Big Ten.

Dumars hopes to keep Pistons' nucleus together

Everett is just a fool for saying that starting 5 is a championship squad. Our starting 5 in the playoffs was better and we didnt win a title. Snow and Murray wouldnt start on our championship squad. Anyone who thinks we should get rid of Hughes must have not known that he missed 3/4 of the year last year. Gooden however is expendable. Anderson Varejao would split time with someone because he gets into too much foul trouble and Z isnt going anywhere. Another possible pick-up would be Jason Terry. He would be a great PG for us. Having Ben would be nice, but I dont see it in our cards.

Cowboys and Patriots Super Bowl Bound?

NE has a chance, but all they did was get worse over the offseason. They won't be as indestructible in close games without Vinatieri and they lost a huge presence in their locker room with McGinest. Dallas is just caught up in T.O. hysteria as is anyone who thinks they will play in the Super Bowl. T.O. is good , but I don't remember him playing defense. Dallas ranked 10th last year and thats not bad , but they lost the best DT in the NFL La'Roi Glover. Drew Bledsoe is still an average QB. Not to mention the fact that they dont play in the NFC North, they have Philly twice, NYG twice, Washington twice, Carolina in Carolina, Tampa Bay, and Indianapolis.
