I thought the link was very interesting. Too bad Isaiah Thomas was fired, otherwise he could have had a chance at being drafted.

Yeah, if you look through the comments on the article about the GW kid, someone makes an Isaiah joke there too.

Would be fun to see rcade declare, too. (I'm saying this with the full knowledge of rcade's Pope-squatting antics.)

An interview with Ball Don't Lie. BDL: What aspect of your game needs the most work? Feinstein: The basketball part.

Before this kid wasted all his time, he might have checked the internet to see if this joke has been done before. It has. Several times. Not the first FPP on the topic here either.

Apparently I've been under a rock, because this is new to me. Hopefully the only reason that it took "weeks" to find an address on nba.com was that he was on a massive drinking binge.

Did anybody hear about the 8th grader that committed to Kentucky?

When Andy Cole, the English footballer announced that he was "retiring from international football", even though he was rarely selected and at the time, no chance of getting in the squad, you could buy t-shirts saying "I have retired from international football", just to join in the fun. Maybe SpoFi can produce some memorabilia (shirts, mugs) along these lines - "I have nominated for the Draft", perhaps.

Yawn. This happened last year, some kid at GW in DC who played some pick up basketball declared. It wasn't really that clever then, and it didn't get any fresher this year.
