What's the case against Kent? Is it just his defense and his general douchiness?

The Brazilian female cohost has a dress that's practically painted on. God bless you, Spanish language television.
Portuguese. God bless you, Portuguese language television. The last thing you want is a bunch of pissed off lusophones.

MLB wants ARod off the Yankees payroll so they can field a decent team sometime in the next 10 years. Yankees mean a whole lot of $$$ to MLB.
Any Yankee fan would love to see his contract voided, I just worry about the precedent it will set if he is banned for life.

Darcis was playing a good serve and volley game, obviously disrupting Nadal, who couldn't use his massive topspin to advantage. Serve and volley. It was like spotting a dinosaur.
I think their disappearance at All-England can be directly attributed to the slowification of the grass there

Clearly I am better at watching hockey then I am at predicting the outcome of matches. Good looks on putting this together Meaty.

I am in no way saying Rask is the next Brodeur. Saying Rask is not a good goalie because Boston is good defensively is what I am taking issue with.

You can make this argument about any goalie who played on a strong defensive team. For example:
I think the point is that Rask Brodeur was never that good to begin with. He is certainly a steady reliable NHL goalie, but the Bruin's Devil's team commitment to defense is the biggest reason for his success. Rarely do opposing teams get good opportunities close to the net. Rask Brodeur stops the first shot and the Bruins Devils clear the puck.
in other words poor argument is poor.

Until we get another "golden age" of American tennis, attracting viewers will continue to be a problem.
It's sad to think so many missed out on one of the greatest rivalries the sport has seen because Nadal and Federer weren't American.

OTT in 6 - Pens had trouble handling the physical Isle, I don't see them matching up better against the more physical Sens
NYR in 6 - H. Lundquist. That is all.
CHI in 7 - this one will be the series to watch. Great rivalry, power house Bhawks team versus the resilient Red Wings.
LA in 6 - This choice based purely on the history of SJ crapping around this time of year.

Because he doesn't really make the cut: he was good for a long time, but he was great for a shorter period of time than the usual Hall of Famer (with all caveats about Veteran's Committee inductees, etc).
I invoke the Kirby Puckett argument (with all the usual caveats about neither belonging in the HoF, etc.)

Remember, this is not the NHL Hall of Fame, it's the Hockey Hall of Fame which takes all aspects of your career into consideration.
Truth. Being Swedish certainly didn't hurt Sundin's chances of getting into the HHOF. European's a bit under represented right now.

I don't know how you can put Sundin in without putting Shanahan in.
Its the Hockey HOF, everyone gets in eventually.

Lidstrom is easily a top 5 defenceman. I would rank Lidstrom behind Orr, Bourque and Potvin.
With apologies to Jaromir, Lidstrom was the best European hockey player to ever lace 'em up. Period.
I gotta put Hasek as the greatest European born Hockey player.
