Donovan McNabb the highest-paid player in league history.: After recieving a 12-year, 115 million dollar contract. Pretty good for a guy who was booed on draft day. Do you think the Eagles fans would rather have Ricky Williams now?

That's a lot of chunky soup.

I like how Strahan was making fun of Donovan's Chunky Soup commercials when he was microphoned on Monday Night Football last year and this year Strahan is the one doing the Chunky Soup commercials!

Anyone find it unusual that Joe Banner and the Birds locked up a QB (with four years left on his current contract) with a restructured and brand new 12-year extention? I can understand the franchise wanting to lock him in at a solid price long-term, but have they forgotten about the other side of the ball and the players that have also helped to make Philly what it is today? Monster players like Troy Vincent, Hugh Douglas and Brian Dawkins, who have one or no years left on their contracts come the end of this season? This one, I'm sure will draw some interesting debate here in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. I only wonder if any of the beat writers in this town will have the guts to take on the Eagles front office about this subject...
