Mia and Nomar start reproducing while the Texas Sports Hall of Fame is put on hold: "This is a first for us," said Steve Fallon, executive director of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. "We've never had anybody decline because they're pregnant."

...everyone will get what they want. And Mia will get twins (at least according to the last report I heard about it). Since this is the first year of her nomination (I think), it would seem that there is plenty of time to get it done. The article was rather vague about the details.

Their unborn children are already being scouted by pro scouts as five tool players, and athletes to watch for the 2030 season.

All hail our unborn, highly scouted, five-tool, super-star spawned overlords.

Sure, why not. According to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame rules, if a person is not inducted for a three-year period because he or she refuses or declines the honor, the person is taken off the ballot for at least five years. Not that it would apply here, but I would imagine this is the kind of rule that could be massaged if providence requires. She wants in, they want her in, everyone will get what they want.
