Great stuff, apoch. I'm glad I waited to make my picks. Although despite that, I seem to have picked against you in every game.

heehee, I think you're in the wrong thread... Dr.J: Yeah. The stats may lean one way going in, but the only stat that matters is the score at the end of them. Of course, if you're wrong this week, I could do some catching up.

Excellent stuff apoch. I love Sports Related stats (especially anything related to hockey) Fasinating approach to picking winners. I'm not in the CFL Pick'em league but read and follow the threads. We sure could use you in the SportsFilterFPS Hockey League. Why don't you join us, plenty of room with 6 slots still available. The max team was moved to 20?

One major difference between the NFL and CFL that might affect the significance of these stats: sample size. The NFL's size makes it easier to determine what makes a "quality team". On the other hand, the CFL plays more games, which gives you more trend data to work with. Maybe the issues cancel out.

The quality wins stat is the one I put the least faith in because it varies as the season goes and teams win and lose games. I think scorability, bendability and ypa are probably the three most valuable ones, but I don't have a lot of experience using these stats. I only compiled the database two weeks ago, 2-1 with my picks. We'll see how I do this week.

6 months, 36 months it doesn't matter. It will only take one day in prison to get what he deserves
