The Hoser’s NFL Picks, Week Five: NFL picks that wonder if Albert Haynesworth would have missed Barry Bonds's melon on the first try.

Being from Green Bay I can only put my 21/2 cents in. Favre is hurt, he will start so he doesn't break his team record of career starts, Rodgers takes over by 2nd half. Reciever Donald Driver (Favres #1 target) out, reciever Robert Ferguson out, Halfback Ahman green very questionable, Rookie offensive/defensive line; I think the spread is very conservative. My prediction: Packers- 14 / Rams- 28. Then they go on the mend with a bye next week.

I forgot to mention McCarthy's horrendous draafting and trading this year, If we pull of a losing year like last year, he will taking the long walk to exile island.

Psycho, Brett's record is a league record.... Not strictly a team record. Though inmaterial I felt I should set the record straight. Mike mcCarthy's horrendous drafting? Get real, the Pack is now suffering from Mike Shermin's bad decisions....and incentidentally....It's Thompson that's the GM not McCarthy...you need to give him a chance to put his own stamp on the team! On a personal basis... I go back to the original "Glory Days" of the sixties and suffered through the twenty-five years of mostly mediocrity so, throwing out last year, I thouroughly enjoyed the 13 years where the Pack averaged 10 wins a season (By any measure...quite a run!)

Ahem...Bears 40, Bills 7. I'd say they covered.
