The Hoser’s NFL Picks, Week Two: NFL picks that think Tom Cruise and Daniel Snyder make a cute couple.

I can't believe I actually agree with all your picks this week (with the exception of maybe Minnesota and the Bears WILL cover). Once again, thank goodness the Hoser is back! Let's see if I can get more than five wins in this weeks office confidence pool.

Hey, good show on the week that was - fraze. One more like it, and I break out the credit card. Unfortunately, I can't see the Giants covering on the road, much less actually beating an Eagles team that just had a movie made about them. That strikes me as going against the whim of the universe. But hell, if it does go down that way, I owe you one dancing banana.

You are on fire this week, fraze. I especially enjoyed the Steve Austin reference.

But hell, if it does go down that way, I owe you one dancing banana. Christ, now I'll be rooting doubly hard for the Giants. I fought myself on that one and the Steelers/Jags pick, but I'll stand by them ... at least until I'm wrong. Last week was a bear. I was pretty pleased with 9-7, especially when I opened The Star this morning and saw this -- the guy they actually pay went 3-13 last week. He likes the Giants also. Uh oh.

So if I am reading this correctly Oakland is going to cover the spread and score 17 against Baltimore (scary defense) after scoring 0 against San Diego (not quite as scary defense)? And maybe I am way out in left field but Mr. Sheridan may be off the mark on the Denver game (Kansas City at DENVER (-10.5):). As a matter of fact, if I had started Mr. Sheridan instead of Mr. Plummer at QB my fantasy team would have had an extra 6 points. Make fun of me on Monday, but I wouldn't gamble on Denver beating anybody just yet.

wfrazerjr, I don't want to come across nitpicky though, I do love your article.

That's not nitpicky. That's just questions. The odds on the Raiders being shut out twice are extremely low -- even if they do have Aaron "Foster" Brooks under center. And I feel your pain -- I had Sea Bass starting as my kicker (although I still won my game). As for the KC/Denver game, Sheridan's banking on Huard utterly falling apart. I'm not sure why, when he'll just be handing the ball to Larry Johnson 35 times. It's not a winning formula, but with Jake the Fake reverting to his old ways, it should keep it within 10 points.
