I have a new found respect for Peter Vescey.:

I would have preferred the matter be settled by a game of 1-and-1 between Fortson and Vecey and then Vecsey winning in a decision. There are no winners here, only well-off douchebags.

Fortson prides himself on being an enforcer. He relishes his role as a hit man. What's funny is that Vescey's description of Fortson can be applied to him (journalistically, of course.) I don't I've ever heard or read him say anything positive about anyone. Then again, he does work for The New York Post where it's part of the job requirement to be an ass.

A strange dichotomy: "Flagrant Fortson" takes you to court, while Zeke just busts yo' ass.

If his opinion of Fortson is anywhere near true, I invite him to watch an NHL game. He would probably call the police on both teams.

I dunno: Fortson played for the Celtics one year and it was frustrating that the one guy on the team who could rebound would be in foul trouble in the first quarter.

As a Celts fan, I got used to the term "Fortson picks up three quick ones" real fast that season.
