Hidden: Tucker gets away free: Tucker gets away from a cheap shot he delivered to Jochen Hecht last night.

You know, I was going to post something about this incident, but I couldn't think of a way to do it without editorializing the description. I see you failed at that also. I thought it was a cheap shot also, especially Tucker stretching his knee out. Suspend him.

I watched the game and feel strongly about this also. The NHL really struggles in being consistent when dealing with idiots like Tucker. He serves no purpose and hockey needs to rid itself of cement-heads like him.

buffalo will never win, if this one act has made you sick and tired of the NHL, that's unfortunate. I'm not defending what Tucker did (I can't), and although (sorry, dyams) he does have other skills and serves a purpose for his team, he definitely has a history of stunts like this which hurt his reputation, and for which he should probably sit out some games. But -- you know, this was a borderline FPP to start with. Unreadably poor grammar and an unnecessarily big front page editorial make me think this thread maybe shouldn't stick around.

There needs to be a better link.

I have to go home and watch this 'hit' again. From where I was sitting, Tucker was getting high-sticked and cheap-shotted all night long.

people tend to go after tucker because he's an emotional guy, thus, when tucker retailates, its big news..like don cherry sez the instigator rule is the dumbest rule in hockey...the nhl has go get rid of it,otherwise, players like tucker are going to stand up.. the ref's failed to make the call,so tucker took him out..justice has been served..
