Hidden: Steelers unlikely to repeat: I don't think that Pittsburgh will or can return to the Super Bowl. They may even struggle to make the playoffs.

Jesus Christ, it's been three days. I'm pretty sure Len Pasquarelli would show up at your father's funeral and hit on your mom. This is brilliant also: This figures to be, even with some alterations, a Pittsburgh team capable of defending its Super Bowl title in 2006. and then later It could be a tough road for the Steelers back to another Super Bowl, perhaps a tough road, even, to reach the playoffs. Boy, way to go out on a limb there. Do the Steelers have a chance at repeating? Sure, simply because of the stability provided by the Rooneys and Cowher. But with the emergence of the Bengals, the strength of their '06 schedule and the expected loss of two of their major offensive contributors, it ain't bloody likely.

pac10: You've already been warned once today to read the guidelines. Clevelander: um, yeah. It's 3 days after the Super Bowl. Who cares. Ok, the Steelers will have the 5th hardest schedule. That's what happens when you kick ass. But at least it will seem easier playing Cleveland twice. Vegas has them at 6-1 odds to repeat. Statistically it is very hard to repeat as Super Bowl champions. The Steelers only did it twice, after all. A third time would be hard. It's even harder to get to the Super Bowl. As any Browns fans. Lame post.

If I hear one more person say the officials handed Pittsburgh the title I'm gonna puke!! The only bad call was the blocking foul on Hasselback. Of course I guess the line judge did miss that tackle on Parker on the 75 yard run, and the back judge didn't knock down that pass from Randle El, these two plays accounted for 4 more points than Seattle scored all day!!! Pittsburgh had the worst officials call all year against them. (I don't have to tell you which one). You didn't hear Cower crying to the press like NO CLASS Holmgren did.

Pittsburgh will not have Antwaan Randle El and that takes away trick plays to some extent. They won't have Bettis and Parker won't be able to step up into the full time role. Ken Whisenhunt could end up in Oakland. There secondary which is already there weak spot may get even weaker if Chris Hope and Deshea Townsend skip town. There schedule isnt the same cupcake that it was this year either. They have Kansas City, Tampa Bay, San Diego, Atlanta, Carolina, and Jacksonville not to mention Cincinnati and Denver. One more key blow would be, if they make the playoffs, possibly not having the smae officiating crew that handed them the trophy.
