This is going to be an awesome series!: This is written before the game tonight but I wanted to comment on how the Angels traveled so far and played 3 games in 3 days in 3 different cities. I think tonights game was great and we should be in for some great playoff baseball.

I agree, although the Sox looked pretty sloppy in quite a few areas tonight. I really want to see these two teams match up on all cylinders.

To be honest, I thought the Angels had an advantage heading into the game. The styles of play that both the White Sox and Angels employ rely a lot on exact execution and it would seem that not playing for several days is worse for those purposes than playing three days in a row. Hopefully the White Sox come around on Thursday. I want this series to go on as long as possible.

Argh! It was a tired, sloppy game all around. Also hoping to see the Sox turn it around. By the way, is Angels' upper management as evil as they seem to be?

By the way, is Angels' upper management as evil as they seem to be? What do you exactly mean?

Now that the Yankees and Red Sox aren't involved, nobody has much to say. How amusing.

zippinglou: Well, there was the incident with the name change, which has led to some of the fans in my area to complain bitterly about "what Disney has done to the Baseball." They are apparently unaware that ownership changed a few years back. Their feeling is that current ownership couldn't care less about the Angels or the fans - indeed, that if they had a chance to sell the Angels and buy a different team, they would in a heartbeat. I can find no evidence that suggests that this is the case beyond their complaints, hence my poorly phrased question. I should have written "is Angels' upper management as evil as some sports fans in my area seem to think they are?"

I dont know why you guys are even commenting on this! According to ESPN, this kind of thing is "normal guys will be guys stuff" and we shouldnt worry about it. No different than a bunch of guys from the office going to a strip club! That is sad!

What the hell are you talking about? I think you on the wrong post.

The name change is stupid, and since "Los Angeles" is Spanish for "the angels," I've been referring to them as The The Angels Angels of Anaheim.
