Setting 'em down in order: With the regular season standings confirmed, utility infielder Kevin Hooper played nine positions in nine innings for the Toledo Mud Hens in their season finale on Monday, in (almost) numerical order: 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/1. He picked up the save.

Unfortunately, he didn't complete the sweep by singing the National Anthem, selling peanuts between innings, or calling the game for the local radio staion. Slacker.

According to the Mud Hens link, he did put some time in behind the dugout camera. But your point is valid. I'd pay good money to listen to a combination player/colour commentator. PLAY-BY-PLAY: The stretch. The pitch; a curveball catches the inside corner of the plate, and it's oh-and-two. COLOUR: Jerry, in this situation, I'd think about burning a cutter away just to give him a different look, and then come right back inside with something off-speed. In fact, I think I'll do just that.

All I want to know is, was Jamie Farr, Klinger of MASH there to see it? He was a big fan of the Mud Hens.
