High completion percentages key to modern QB: Jim Plunkett won a Heisman in 1970. But in today's game, he'd likely warm a bench.
It's just funny how highly-esteemed some college quarterbacks of the past were, and still are held today. The amount of interceptions thrown back then compared to today is astounding. Seeing how Brady Quinn's stats at Notre Dame surpass Joe Montana, and how puny Archie Manning's stats were to both his sons is amazing. I think it's amusing looking back on how Bo Schembechler called what BYU played "Communist Football."

Just goes to show how much the game has changed. I never did like Plunkett.
