Quick, get Isiah Thomas on the phone!: ESPN's Bill Simmons lays out the Top 40 trade values in the NBA offseason. Spoiler: The Raptors will NOT be attempting to reacquire Vince Carter, not even for an air pump and Mo Pete's smelly jock.

A. single page view, man B. There isn't a single Knicks player on that list so it doesn't look like Isiah Thomas won't be fielding any calls. C. Is Dwight Howard really in the 10 spot or does he get bumped up largely due to his entry level contract? Is he all that and a bag of smelly jocks?

Well, Howard sure does seem like a guy who could be putting up some serious numbers even next year - he's a tank. But it's funny how the Sports Guy always rags on TUP, then pretty much supports it in ranking of players like this. Plus it seems like he subconciously factors in a PCV (pop-culture value) index into his criteria.

I don't follow basketball that closely, but that was a pretty damn entertaining article. I like lists and comedy and sports, and this had it all.

Dwight Howard was monsterous at times last year (most of those times I saw were against the D-challened Celtics, but still). He'll start dropping fairly regular double-doubles this year. Then again, he was last year too, wasn't he? Some limb I stepped out on.
