Ted Nolan finally has another coaching job.: His years in the wilderness (blacklisted?) are over. He's headed to the Moncton Wildcats who have an automatic berth in the 2006 Memorial Cup as hosts. He hasn't had a coaching job since 1997 when he was fired after winning the Jack Adams Award as coach of the year for the Buffalo Sabres.

Its About time. Alot of teams should have signed him a LONG time ago. You can be the best foreman in the local factory, but if you piss off your best worker and get your supervisor fired, how many other companies are going to want to hire you? Throw in the fact that there are rumours that Nolan turned down coaching jobs with Tampa Bay and the NY Islanders and wouldn't take any minor league positions (beneath him), it's easy to see why it's been so long since he coached. That said, I hope he can make Moncton a competitive team for the Memorial Cup next year.

Good luck, Ted. Good to hear you're back in the game.
