Welcome to Jocksonville: Northeast Florida is rotten with current and former NFL athletes, as this star-watching piece in the Florida Times-Union illustrates. One vet, Paul Salata, has attended 35. Why has the NFL become the only pro league with a championship that draws hundreds of players who aren't on either team?

Why do say that other leagues don't have same? None of your links make that claim. Also, to call Salata a vet is a bit kind, though technically correct since the guy played all of 11 games more than 50 years ago.

Well, when it comes to the major sports that's easy. The super bowl is one game only, and that one game sets records with viewership, while the others are best of seven. Just completely different situations.
