Curse the Patriots: "We're going to win, probably the next three Super Bowls," New England season ticket holder Gary Vanderwater, sending his team off to Jacksonville by inviting the wrath of Touchdown Jesus.
I wish the tard had kept his mouth shut, but yerfatma has a point. Here's hoping the Iggles keep runnin' their mouths...

As a Patriots fan, let me just say that we could easily lose this one. It is going to be a hell of a game. I hope.

As another Patriots fan, let me say the same thing, even though we said the same thing before the last two playoff games, and if we keep saying the same thing, before too very long people are going to start to say, "Yeah, right!!!" ...or maybe just, "Aw shuddup!"

C'mon, grow some hair on your chest. This is the best NFL team seen in decades. You're going in as a huge favorites. This whole reverse psychology thing, or being faux-gracious is starting to sound weak and uninspired.... Very Boston of you.

Dude, Miami beat us. I promise it isn't a reverse psychology thing.

I couldn't be more serious. We watched Miami beat us. If Miami can, anyone can - and the Eagles are a much better team than the Dolphins. Well, except the Colts, but you catch my drift. I think we are being cautious more than anything else.

Joey, stop. Go get some sleep. Hey, Weedy, was I right or what?

Previous to the Sox Series win, this kind of thing would have freaked me out a lot more. Nowadays, I just think, "Better the fans than the players."
