C'mon, Robinson was a trooper. He rarely complained and made Duncan's transition and ascension to team (and leaguer) superstar as pleasant and easy as anyone could ever imagine. One only needs to think about Ewing and his inability to allow those younger and better on his team to shine. Sure, Robinson seemed to lack the heart and intensity of a superstar, but he made up for it in his attitude. Even injured, he contributed to the team. His numbers plummeted, but he was still a force to be reckoned with. Believe me, it will be much harder for Duncan without the General, which is why Duncan will be out of San Antonio faster that you can say, Remember the Alamo.

I seem to recall Shaq mentioning that the one player he has beef with - the one player he tries to embarrass every time they play - is David Robinson. All because before Shaq was pro, he sought an autograph from the Admiral and got the bum rush. Ever since, he's had mad grudge. Doesn't prove Robinson is an a-hole. Just proves he's a dumb ass. Here's a tip, Admiral: Next time a 7 foot 300 pound high school kid asks you for an autograph, just sign the damn thing. In three years, he may be beating your ass down in the paint.
