Mmmmm, Roethlisburgers: So what do you get when you combine ground beef, sausage, scrambled eggs, grilled onions and American cheese? The "Roethlisburger" of course! Riding high on his 5-0 record as the Steelers rookie quarterback, Big Ben has had a sandwich named after him at Peppi's Late Night. But you won't read about it on humble Ben's weblog.
He actually does sound humble. How refreshing.

That burger sounds hideous. Then again, I don't eat red meat or eggs... Rotty's run has been great. He's got his biggest challenge of the reg. season this Sunday, although Ty Law's injury will surely help a bit. I got to go to the Steelers game here in Dallas. Damn the Steel Nation travels well.

I'll assume Ufez's comments are a joke based on Ben's weblog being painfully out of date because 1) Pittsburgh already beat Dallas, and 2) Ty Law suffered his injury in a losing effort against Pittsburgh. I don't eat the stuff in the sammich either, but it is still funny that people are lining up to eat something simply because it is named after a rookie QB. < shrug>>>

nevermind. I re-read AFTER I posted. My bad. Looks like Ufez is right (the "will surely" through me off), and I need more coffee even at half 12.

Well, you're half-right, terpy. The Dallas game was past, but for some reason I had it in my head that the Patriots game was this sunday. So lather, rinse, repeat. Still, though, if Burger finds a way to lead his team to back-to-back victories over undefeated teams, ROY is a shoo-in and MVP may be in consideration. Has anyone in the NFL won both in the same year?

So what do you get when you combine ground beef, sausage, scrambled eggs, grilled onions and American cheese? I dunno, but my arteries are hardening just from reading it. He looked plenty sharp against the Pats. If Law hadn't been injured, the outcome probably would have been some different, but not enough, I think.

The sandwich sounds great to me, I don't know what you all are complaining about.
