If you had one bullet: would you shoot Victoria Beckham, or Arsene Wenger?
Could I have two bullets?
For a little added spice to today's mammoth match up between Arsenal and Manchester United, Sir Fergie claims that, regardless of the result, the Red Devils will always be the country's top team.
On a weekend of the undefeated, three hours after Arsenal's chase for fifty unbeaten games ends, the 5-0 New England Patriots look for their 21st straight win, when they entertain the 5-0 New York Jets. While the Boston Globe are all about the game, the NY Daily news can't resist one last nibble at the Red Sox.

I'm confused. Is this thread about football or football? I dearly hope that Arsenal annihilate Man U, but I expect it'll be a tense low-scoring game. In fact I'm predicting a draw, but given my performance in the SpoFi FFL if I were you I wouldn't put money on it.

Football. Definitely.

those of us in Upstate NY aren't even going to get to watch the battle of the undefeateds (whcih includes an NY team), because we've been stuck with the wildly fascinating Bills-Ravens game, and FOX gets the doubleheader today, so CBS will be showing nothing at 4pm. My only choice then will be the battle of losing records, Dallas-Green Bay. Perrrrrfect.

Bernreuther, in the Bay Area we are not even getting the early Fox game much less Jets-Pats. I hate TV executives. Meanwhile, not sure if 2-0 is an annihilation or just a solid victory but The Streak is Dead. And to answer the oh so formal (Welcome Aboard) MrBismark, I would never shoot a beautiful woman or a great football manager.

If it makes you feel any better, which it won't, I'm consigned to "watching" the games on NFL.com. At least my Phish won. Another consolation for me is the production from my fantasy team so far today - Fraud Taylor, Jimmy Smith and Byron Leftwich pay back my over-reliance on the Jax O and there's points to be had from Baltimore's defence too.

All I know is that I'm pretty sure I got destroyed in my (US) football pool. DE-stroyed.

reminds me of an old joke: You have a gun and two bullets and are in a room with Osama bin Laden, Pol Pot and Alex Ferguson, who do you shoot? Alex Ferguson, twice.

Personally speaking, if I could get Posh to stand in front of Fergie, I'm sure one bullet would do.
