Return of the Yuccaneers: "You might say this is the best 1-5 team in the league." -- Jon Gruden
I haven't paid much attention to the Buc's season, but I have a hard time believing that Brad Johnson could have deteriorated so quickly. Last season he was a good QB, then three weeks into this season he's being replaced with a scrub? Odd.

I have a hard time believing that Brad Johnson could have deteriorated so quickly Did you follow him when he played for Minnesota? I'm surprised he's held up for so long. He's one of the most injury-prone QBs I've ever watched. I swear he goes down with a hangnail.

Well, my #1 injury-prone QB is Rob Johnson, but probably-unrelated Brad is a decent second.

I don't think any QB is as injury-prone as the 3-headed triage ward that was Rodney Peete/Erik Kramer/Andre Ware in Detroit...of course when they were hurt, they weren't throwing picks...

No list of fragile Quarterbacks is complete without mention of Chris "Crystal Chandelier" Chandler. Fair play to Chris, though, he hasn't been injured since December.

Not to mention Jeff ("But he's got such great potential!") George.

The legend of Chucky has taken a lot of damage since he deactivated Keyshawn Johnson for spite last November and the team responded by going 3-3 and missing the playoffs. I thought at the time that it was an idiotic move, and I think the subsequent collapse of the Bucs has shown it. You don't bench a good player when you're fighting for your playoff lives only a half-year out of the Super Bowl. Since then, it seems like Gruden has tried to prove that he's the only part of the Bucs that's essential to their success. And we can see how that's working out for him.
