Cable Could Keep NBC's Olympic Torch Burning: meaning Bravo could go from Queer Eye to Odd Sports World? Olympics apparently mean a lot of bank.

But ladies, what about Inside the Actor's Studio? What would people do with out being able to watch and mock that pompous ass James Lipton?

Granted, as an Olympics addict i may be going through a bit of withdrawal a few hours after the closing ceremonies, but a channel that follows these sports would be very cool. It would be nice to be able to keep up with these sports besides the usual page 2 stories.

I'd love to get Eurosport here. So much more variety than ESPN*.

(And for those who haven't seen, Eurosport is a lot more than just olympics sports; it also does cricket, ballroom dancing, non-NASCAR/F1 auto racing, like rallies, etc.)

If they did expanded coverage on sports that didn't get a lot of play during the Games, I could totally get hooked on it. Seriously. Esoteric sports and expanded replays of more mainstream matches we didn't get to see would be an easy sell in my house.

You're forgetting that NBC has already done this. It was called "Wide World of Sports", and it certainly did offer a wider view on the world of sports than what we have now. I think having a channel devoted to the Olympic sports would absolutely rock. Or we could just get Eurosport.
