Hey! It's ESPN's Page 3! And it has to do with sports!: Sort of. It's Page 3's list of Major Leaguers and their entrance music.

Magglio Ordonez - "Matador" by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. Sweet. Uh oh. We have found the cause for the Angels subpar season, too much Creed.

Damn, lilnemo's in a frenzy... Thanks for pointing this out though. I haven't even clicked on Page 3 since their tribute to the Simpsons, back when it first launched. This is good, though. As far as the Rangers go, I love Delucci's Godfather theme. Brings in the whole 'Hitman' nickname. I've recently found it odd that Michael Young has a rap song while Gary Matthews Jr. (who isn't listed in the article) has some country ballad. For the rest of SpoFi, what would you have as your theme song as you enter the batter's box a thread? For me: easily So What'cha Want by the Beasties.

When he was with the D-Backs, Tony Womack used to come out to "Roll Out" by Ludacris. With Womack it fit though, and you could change the song to suit the occasion: "Strike Out", "Ground Out", "Fly Out"...they all worked.

I love this. Great, fun post, lilnemo! Ok, do you take the entrance music as "themes" or just songs they like? I seem to think of it as their theme. One of the Yankees (Posada I think) was using "She Wants to Move" by NERD and I found it really odd. Sure, if it was "He wants to move" that's cool. Move about the basepath. Move out in the infield. Cool. She, though? I heard that and thought, "man, he has to change that music." Johnny Damon uses Sevendust a lot. He's friends with the band and I can't remember if they are playing at his wedding (!) or they are in the wedding party. Someone please call a moratorium on "Yeah" by Usher. And no more Creed - ever!

I tend to agree with LBB. I can't wait to hear that screaming from the speakers at Fenway.

Love Hank Blalock's explanation of why he doesn't want to hear music as he steps in: "I am not a jukebox."
