This is getting blasted?: The offical report on the University of Colorado's football sex scandal is out, and it stops short of calling for the heads of the administration and football staff. So ... what do you have to do to get fired from CU?
The more I read about this stuff the more I'm convinced that altheltic scholarships are just a bad idea. I think college sports should be abolished and the kids just go play for junior teams and go to school seperately - if they want to. Everyone who had anything to do with this should be fired. And they should take 'Unviersity' out of the Colorado daycare's name.

"The university's leadership must be held accountable for systemic failings that jeopardized students' safety and allowed for ongoing misconduct in the football recruiting program," the report said. This officially makes the CU administration the weakest bunch of punks on the face of the earth. When your own university report says folks should be held accountable, and you say you have to determine whether or not your bigwigs are "capable of making changes"? Jebus, they weren't capable of stopping player-hosts from feeling "pressured to impress recruits and resorted to providing alcohol, drugs and sex, including visits to strip clubs and the hiring of strippers." I think every student enrolling at Colorado should receive a pamphlet entitled, "You Stand A Greater Chance of Being Raped, But Look At Our Record In Football!"

My first thought when seeing this go across the bottom line was, "I wonder how many other Div. I coaches are reading this and thinking, 'I'm glad we're not being investigated.'" It certainly doesn't make anything right or better, but I'm betting these types of "recruiting practices" are common. Hopefully this attention will help put a stop to that, or at least minimize it.
