Good lord, what a tragic affair. I was completely unaware of this since I was A) 9 years old and B) in Oklahoma. Thanks for the links.

I remember watching it unfold on TV from Toronto. It was absolutely horrifying. The testimonials brought all that back. I'm going to have to explain why I'm a little teary to everyone here at work now. Thanks, squealy, for noting it.

Liverpool legend Bill Shankly is constantly quoted as saying: "Football isn't a matter of life or death. It's far more important than that." After reading the accounts of the victim's families, survivors and witnesses you realise how insignificant football really is.
