Fox Sports: (sorry, FAX SUPARTSAH!), from a UK perspective. Possibly the only time you'll hear the presenters described as "the robotic public face of this evil planet-crushing mutant media space octopus.".
This guy does realize that Fox Sports World is a fifth-tier network for a niche American audience, right?

Leaving aside the factual inaccuracy about Fox Sports World being the Canadian wing of a mythical "Fox Sports" channel, of course. I mean--I loathe Fox Sports when they do football and baseball, and you could probably find better soccer commentators than the guys they have calling the games. But I'm glad somebody's bringing me four to eight complete games on the weekends, with usually one live Bundesliga game and one live Premiership game.

How is "FAX SUPARTSAH" supposed to sound? Is it a British person doing an American accent? I don't get this at all. For what it's worth, Fox sucks.

Some day someone will introduce him to Stuart Scott, and then the s*** will really hit the fan.

I'm with Justin. Fox as a whole sucks, but no one else is bringing me English, French, German, Dutch and/or Argentine football here in the states.

It's too bad I have to turn off the volume when the FoxSports numbnuts are talking on the EPL show. It's a good thing they leave the actual commentary to the Brits. They still do that, don't they?

Justin: he probably does know what he's talking about. The guy's a great writer, but emphatically not a serious one. Everything he writes is a total piss-take.

I love FSW but I only watch the actual sports events and not Sky Sports News, highlight shows or Dream Team. Aussie Rules Football rules!!! And terrapin, you left off the Brazilian league matches. I just wish they could get the right sof rmore stuff and be all footy all the time--how about Spain and Italy plus more tournaments.

i'm not sure exactly what this writer is complaining about. is fox sports any goofier than espn, really?

Let's get this right - they show Dream Team on a sports channel in America!?

billsaysthis: mea culpa.

Sal, oh yeah. FSW needs something cheap to fill the schedule, they can only repeat English matches four or five times a piece.
