Yeah. Brilliant, brilliant coach- give him sunday->wednesday to prepare during the tournament and there was no one better. Shame that all the years of living in a hotel and eating hotel food finally caught up to him.

You know, I'm not too sympathetic towards Majerus on the whole, but I realize what this means to Utah fans. This is (for me) akin to Eddie Sutton's inevitable retirement from OSU. Guy's been around for a long time, built a great program, and it's tough to see him move on. From that point of view, I hope his legacy continues.

I hope that if he does have to retire, he gets a college basketball TV analyst job. He is always great during the tournament.

As someone who has seen Majerus coach several times, this is a bummer. He's a guy who has dedicated everything to basketball, and it looks like that has taken a toll on his health.
