Good Knight!: Hoosiers win. As a former Indiana boy, I always picked the Hoosiers to go deep into the tournament. The last few years they've disappointed me time and time again. This year I decided to pick them to lose in the first round. Bummer. But I'm happy to see them in the finals anyway! Go Hoosiers! (I'm also happy for Mike Davis; I am not a big Bobby Knight fan.)

Congrats; they (again) played a ballsy, tough game when no one thought they were going to win. I don't think I'll be able to cheer against Juan Dixon if MD wins tonight, but I'd definitely cheer for IU against Kansas, and can't really cheer against IU at this point either. Some great basketball being played tonight.

Great game! Moye and especially Newton played well in their hometown, and earlier this week when Dick Vitale said Oklahoma was going to win, I knew the Hoosiers would carry the day. I think Indiana has the momentum right now to beat just about anybody. They withstood the toughness (and the various cheap shots, Coverdale got elbowed in the mouth, for example) of the Sooners and hit 52 percent from the field, while all other Oklahoma opponents hit 40 percent or less. Go Hoosiers!

Dick Vitale is already calling the final for Maryland (just read the last line of his article). So again, I'm forced to pick Indiana as the winner. Indiana beat Oklahoma the same way they beat Duke: The opponents got in foul trouble early, IU's bench came up big, they outplayed the other team in the paint, and they hit three pointers. Expect another great game from Moye and Newton Monday night!

Well, to be fair to Vitale, he has called the past three championship games correctly even before the season started. So picking against him hasn't (recently) been particularly smart. That said... picking against IU hasn't particularly been smart lately either, and I've been as guilty of that as anyone else. We'll see, I guess...

Not a big college hoops fan either, and just out of fun I picked IU to lose to OU. But I'm a believer, going with 'big red" tonite. Besides Indiana is my state.
