The coverage on this is about as close to the NY Post and Daily News that the NYT / Athletic is likely to get.

The Hubert chit chat NoMich heard on Franklin St was spot on, right down to the "parting".
More than the Dean era being done, the whole notion of there being few select anointed blueblood programs will soon be done.
Self might retire at Kansas, Pope is over his head at Kentucky, people have become grandparents since the last time Indiana was relevant, UCLA is "there", but not "THERE".
Whoever replaces Hubert will have to deal with a new and inexperienced AD, the questionable trail that Bubba will leave behind when he exits, the wrangle over a new arena, and the drama that will ensue as UNC tries to extricate itself from the Belichick situation.
Maybe nobody wants to coach UNC. Struggling to find a good coach has happened to Michigan football, Alabama football, Notre Dame football, Tennessee women's hoops, Georgetown men's hoops, St. John's, Louisville , etc.

I initially saw the headline in The Athletic
No ignoring is correct.
After I read that article, I went to the Google machine.
It got more fascinating and wild the more I read.
I was at the bank today to speak with my investment advisor.
Told her the story, 1st word out of her mouth?
"Florida?"
"Nope, from Maryland, incident took place in Virginia."
We looked at each other: "da FUQ?"
