The Miami Dolphins are releasing Tua Tagovailoa, eating a record $99 Million dead-cap hit over the next two years.

You know, NoMich, your 'Yikes!' could easily be applied to either story.

And, as an Atlanta Falcons fan, when I heard the club was signing him to a 1 year deal, "ah, FFS"

LOL. Very true now that I think about it.

I just can't see signing Tua, no matter how cheaply he can come today, with his concussion history. Mostly it's a morality issue right now since one more concussion will probably ruin his life. How can someone justify being a party to that?

i am dismayed that Tua is choosing to still play, and really disappointed that Atlanta is the team.

As you stated, he's going to be in real trouble (if he's not already), with cumulative brain injuries.

I can see the Falcons signing Tua for a practical reason.

Between him and Penix it gives them two lefties, so if they need to sub in, they don't have to change the RB and WR positioning and can keep the same run block and pass pro assignments.

But with two guys this injury prone, they'll probably end up having to sub in someone like Trubisky or Tyrod Taylor before their bye week.

Brock Osweiler is low mileage and only 35.

I see Teddy Bridgewater has signed with Detroit.

How is he only 33 years old?
