Absolute insanity. But I guess if Penix continues to be injury prone they'll be have another quarterback who's already earning starter's money so they won't have to renegotiate with him?

The only good thing is that Cousins is probably going to be more like Alex Smith was to Mahomes than Aaron Rodgers was to Jordan Love.
Oh, and the butt ugly Georgia Dome is gone. That helps.

Imagine if the Falcons had gone ahead and hired Belichick, told him he had no say in personnel decisions, and then signed Cousins and drafted Penix.
