The Cardinals?: Really? Them and Denver laying down got Green Bay in the playoffs.
If they couldn't handle the Cardinals in a must win game, then they didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs (not to say anything of blowing a 6-0 start to the season). Amen to that. What a collapse!

I kept going, "Wait... they know that this means they won't make the playoffs if they lose, right? Why aren't they putting this away?" I don't mean to troll, but I was of the opinion that if the sad case of Stringer's death didn't motivate them to make a serious playoff run, I'm not sure what could. Meanwhile, the Titans take out the previous Super Bowl champs (yeah, I know it's the turnover prone Bucs, but still) WITHOUT McNair. Watched the steelers/ravens game earlier (no record for Lewis, but a respectable silver) and feel that even tho' they have a longterm history of whuppin' em up; I think the ravens defense won't be able to stop McNair when he's back and healthy. Just PLEASE don't overdo it with Eddie. They eat his ass apart. NFL Playoffs, Gentlemen (and Ladies). I want some predictions. Should we start a separate FPP? What's the winner get? An interview?

that comeback was awesome. I was really rooting against Minn because I think Green Bay deserves the playoffs ten times more than Seattle does, yet all that BCS-like garbage would have screwed them. Sucks that Minn blew a 6-0 start but hey, they choked. I still don't really like any of the teams in the playoffs. Here's what I want to know - will Dungy and Peyton show some fire and actually succeed this post season? That idiot kicker might finally have done something for their motivation... but I hope not. I hate Manning.

That comeback sucked. I am still stunned. The Vikings are doomed forever.

Bern: Even though they beat the Sea Chickens head to head, Green Bay does not deserve the playoffs "ten times more." Has Green Bay been jacked by the officials out of not one, but two wins this year?
Caveats: yes, I know, blaming the refs is weak, they should be so much better fair doesn't matter, blah blah blah. And yes, I'll admit that you can't assume Engram would have caught the game-winning TD against the Rams if the back judge hadn't tripped him. But at the very least, the Ravens won because the officiating crew didn't know the rules, and the NFL apologized to the 'Hawks after both games.
Between this and the "Vinny's head looks like the ball" debacle, one starts to get paranoid.

yeah, damn, the Sea Chickens (great name) and refs don't get along. That said, the reason I made that statement is because the Pack seemed to play much better football over the 2nd half and the Chickens can't win on the road. And because I think if they met again the Pack would win handily again. just my thinking.

Well, we'll get the chance to find out on Sunday. I think the Chickens have a chance because of the emotional wringer the Pack have been through the last two weeks, and because Seattle's defense is playing much better of late. Again, we shall see ...

Can't really blame Shanahan too much for playing the scrubs (for the few starters that weren't injured). That team is banged up, nicked up and overall pretty fragile going into the playoffs. Minnesota controlled its own destiny and choked it big time. If they couldn't handle the Cardinals in a must win game, then they didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs (not to say anything of blowing a 6-0 start to the season). Did Green Bay get a little help and a little lucky? Sure, but coming back 7-2 after the bye and winning their last 4 had something to do with it too. Not a Pack fan (but seeing as my Lions will probably never be in the playoffs again...), but Favre and Green and crew are imminently easier to root for than the Vikings and that taking-plays-off-prima-donna Moss. You wanna be a superstar, then show up in the big game against the worst team in the league (Eli Manning was all Arizona's until today). As a side note: What's the easier win? Denver second stringers or the Cardinals? Tough call.
