That's great news. I was a Raiders fan in the late 1960's, didn't like the Oilers and never could have imagined how much I would yearn to see their old unis back in use again. Luv 'em.
I think Bud Adams should have done what the Browns did when they abandoned Cleveland - left the Oilers team name and colors behind for another ownership group to use when Houston got a new franchise.
And I can't wait to see the helmets that the Eagles will use when they bring out their Kelly green Randall Cunningham era throwback colors. I loved the old Eagles helmets with the silver wings. I wish the team would go back to those uniforms.
There must be a lot of this going on. I also heard that the Bucs will be bringing out the creamsicle Bucco Bruce sets, which is great.
I don't know why the league lets all of this happen. It encourages people to spend twice as much on official NFL team merch as they normally would.

Lenny Randle was a madman. I had forgotten him in 1974 bunting down the first base line just so he could blow up the pitcher.

Randle was some piece of work indeed. I remember when he punched out the Rangers manager and sent him to the hospital. It was clear he couldn't stay on the roster after that. He was eventually taken off the Rangers' hands by...the Mets.
