There has never been an NBA sweep in both conference finals in the same playoff season. I believe that it's happened only once in the NHL. The 1992 playoff conference finals saw Chicago sweep Edmonton and Pittsburgh sweep Boston, completed by a sweep for Pittsburgh for the Cup
